The British Fertility Society hosts a range of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) where members and non-members can join to contribute to work in a specific area. Find out more about each of the SIGs on their own page, or complete the form to apply to join a SIG.
Fertility Education Initiative (FEI)
The Fertility Education Initiative Special Interest Group aims to educate and support informed decision-making about fertility, reproductive health and planning for a family, when it is desired.
Andrology
The Andrology SIG is dedicated to improving the care of male fertility patients through information, education, establishing evidence based policies and furthering research through innovation and collaboration. The Andrology SIG incorporates experts from multiple specialties including urology, endocrinology, gynaecology and scientists to help advance the treatment of patients with male factor infertility.
The SIG welcomes members of all disciplines and encourages active participation.
Fertility Preservation
The aim is to develop and promote best practice in the reproductive care of people with cancer and any condition that carries risk to fertility
Law, Policy & Ethics
The Law, Policy and Ethics Special Interest Group aims to influence and effect change where law and policy are failing to keep up to date with the latest scientific advances and changes in society.
Research and Innovation
The Research & Innovation SIG aims to guide, inform and support development, delivery and dissemination of clinical research and innovation in Reproductive Medicine.
Safety, risks and quality (ART)
The SIG aims to integrate a multidisciplinary team including clinicians (including urologists), nurses, quality managers, embryologists, andrologists, counsellors and administrators from all clinics (private and NHS) to discuss challenging difficult clinical, laboratory or regulatory scenarios.
