Progress Education Trust (PET) debate – 29 March 2017, London
Chair of the British Fertility Society, Professor Adam Balen, will join a much anticipated debate about fertility treatment ‘add-ons’ on 29 March. ‘Add-ons’ are procedures and treatments offered alongside IVF which may not be supported by robust evidence. They recently came under the spotlight during an episode of the BBC1 programme, Panorama, which questioned the way UK fertility clinics offered ‘add-ons’ to patients.
Professor Balen will debate the issue with Sally Cheshire, Chair of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, Dr Simon Fishel, Founder and President of the CARE Fertility and the Rachel Foundation, and Dr Raj Mathur, a Consultant Gynaecologist.
The free-to-attend event will be held at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. Click here to register.
