(PET) urge you to move to update the Human Fertilisation and
Embryology Act.
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act was first passed in 1990
and the last significant update to this piece of legislation was in 2008.

Surrogacy has always been legal in the UK and the UK has regulated surrogacy since 1985 and it is therefore a well-established, if small, part of reproductive treatment carried out in fertility clinics.
