Nurses Study Day

Overview & Introduction

Carrie Lomax and Eilis Moody, Chairs

This study day brings together nurse specialists, practitioners and experts to enable you to update your clinical knowledge, communication skills and more. The session’s objectives are to enable attendees to further their fertility nursing education, gain updates on legal/consent issues, also covering the role of the fertility nurse and an update on current issues and new developments in infertility.

Through both interactive case study discussions and afternoon workshops, attendees will gain further understanding on the complex issues around patient management and communication skills, for example, breaking bad news, other difficult scenarios and ethical and moral dilemmas.

This day will be beneficial to nurses of all grades.
