ACE would like to invite you to an exciting event, a unique opportunity to seek advice and learn from legal experts within the field of IVF and family law.

The morning will be a “Focus on Law”, including:

  • Deirdre Fottrell QC and Jemma Dally – cases concerning clinic error and consent which have hit the courts.
  • Natalie Gamble – surrogacy and consent.
  • Rachel Kelsey, Alan Inglis and Ciaran Moynagh – dispatches from Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  • Gerald Wilson – record keeping.

The afternoon will be a “Focus on Practice and Policy”, with small discussion groups coordinated by Andrew Spearman and supported by a lawyer for each group to compare practice and experience around the UK. There will then be a plenary session for feedback from discussion groups, practical suggestions for maximising good practice, and a panel question-and-answer session giving delegates the opportunity to quiz the lawyer group about issues specific to their own clinic practice.
