Meetings Sub-committee

The annual Fertility conference is hosted jointly between British Fertility Society, Association of Reproductive & Clinical Scientists (ARCS) the Society for Reproduction and Fertility (SRF).

The Meetings sub-committee collaborate with representatives from ARCS and SRF to create the conference programme, which features plenary lectures, Society lectures and update sessions. Research abstract submissions are also included as oral, rapid fire or poster sessions.

Eligible BFS members are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration of the following prizes:

BFS Best Young Scientist

Awarded for work undertaken within the preceding 5 years of the meeting. Presenting author must be a non-clinician.

BFS Best Early Career Clinician

Awarded for work undertaken within the preceding 5 years of the meeting. Presenting author must be below consultant level (or equivalent).

BFS Nursing Award

Awarded for the best abstract. Presenting author must be a nurse.
