Professor Cindy Farquhar will be hosting a series of workshops and a symposium celebrating 20 years of the Cochrane Gynaecology and Fertility Group at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, UK. The dates for the events are 1st and 2nd-3rd April 2016.
Sir Iain Chalmers and Professor Richard Lilford will launch our meeting and celebration. Our Symposium is open to all, whether or not you have been involved in Cochrane before.
Keynote speakers including Dr David Tovey (Editor in Chief of the Cochrane Library), Professor Lisa Bero (Co-chair of Cochrane), Dr Sheryl van der Poel (WHO), Dr Melanie Davies (NICE), Professor Ben Willem Mol and Professor Siladitya Bhattacharya will provide insights and commentary about evidence and women’s health.
· Pre-symposium workshop: 1st April 2016 – Offering editors and authors the opportunity to further develop their skills and expertise in Cochrane authoring including diagnostic test accuracy reviews.
· Symposium: 2nd to 3rd April 2016 and Dinner at Balliol College Saturday 2nd April – Including two dedicated sessions for contributed paper presentations and space for posters.
