Delaying pregnancy may reduce risk of ovarian cancer
Women who give birth to their first child in their mid-30s or later may have a lower risk of ovarian cancer compared with those who give birth to their first child earlier than that, says a new study presented at the American Association for Cancer Research annual meeting.

Scientists successfully genetically modify human embryos, allowing for editing of babies’ genes
Chinese researchers have successfully edited the genes of non-viable embryos, which scientists believe is the first report of CRISPR/Cas9 applied to human pre-implantation embryos and “as such the study is a landmark, as well as a cautionary tale”.
